Anyway, had to switch up the book option from before to this one, after the actual book came out and had lack-luster reviews.

In the winning category, I’ve emptied two fileboxes of papers. It’s not over yet, but it feels good to be 60 lbs lighter. Also made a small donation to Salvation Army last week. :)

This article is enlightening. So WP networking will need to be put on hold, for budgetary reasons. I’ll play with other things in the meantime, like HTML5 and CSS3, when my book of choice is released. Or I might do the right thing and clear out three file boxes of papers. :|

After finishing my cover letter and resume, I’m going to take a little break from me, to do something else…like bake more things or pack gifts for people. :)

No great leaps and jumps on the WP network front. Mostly messed with plugins that messed with me. Made some minor changes with the database, specifically concerning utf-8 and how it is no longer supported. Fun times. The vowel/character appearing in some of the pages has been removed.

Spent a few hours seriously going through job websites and finding possibilities. Still feels odd to be my own advocate, after years of being an advocate for my students.

Due to my parents’ continued remodeling, I’ve brought even more of my books, binders, and papers into my apartment. It is AMAZING how much paper can be accumulated in a lifetime! As much as I’ve dreaded and procrastinated this moment, the paper reduction goal must be tackled. :|

If I only had the amount of material visible in this photo, I’d be a happy camper. The whole process has made me consider a document scanner, which is a nice and expensive. I’m going to try the poor man’s way first, which entails me dusting off my ten-year-old scanner (three-year-old all-in-one printer still won’t scan an entire page…), before resorting to buying a new scanner.

Day 2 of trying to set up a WP network. And though I know that when I’m good and done with setting this network up, I will look back at this and think that it’s simple and obvious. But right now, as I’m bumbling my way through php and basic programming, it’s damn annoying.

Will try a complete reinstall later. :|
